I've always believed hairstyling is about so much more than great hair. It's about helping people feel confident, building lasting relationships, and creating an experience that makes every client feel seen and valued.

After graduating from Brookwood High School, I began my career in the beauty industry in 2017. It didn't take long for me to realize I'd found exactly where I was meant to be. I loved connecting with women of all ages and helping them express themselves through beauty and style. That passion, along with the support of incredible clients, eventually gave me the opportunity to open Downtown & Mane at just 24 years old.

Since then, life has grown in the best ways. My husband, Colton, and I are celebrating nearly ten years together, and our daughter, Harlan, recently turned one. Becoming a wife, mom, and business owner has shaped my perspective and continues to inspire everything I do.

When I opened Downtown & Mane, I had one goal in mind: to create a salon that felt different. I wanted a space where talented, like-minded stylists could build successful careers while supporting one another instead of competing. Just as importantly, I wanted every client to walk through our doors feeling welcomed, comfortable, and completely at home.

Today, Downtown & Mane has grown into exactly the kind of salon I envisioned. Located in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa, we offer a full range of beauty services, including custom color, haircuts, hair extensions, spray tans, facials, eyelash extensions, brow services, waxing, hair treatments, and event hair and makeup.

More than anything, I'm proud of the culture we've created. Our team truly celebrates one another's successes, shares knowledge, and works together every day to give our clients the best experience possible. I love proving that a group of women can work side by side while genuinely cheering each other on. That positive environment is something our clients feel the moment they walk through the door.

Being involved in our community has always been an important part of Downtown & Mane. We regularly partner with University of Alabama organizations to provide customized beauty and self-care experiences for students, and we enjoy giving back through local schools, career days, donations, and community events throughout the year.

Every year we're open is something worth celebrating. It reminds me how far we've come, how much we've grown, and how thankful I am for every client who has trusted us along the way.
